Ingredients

Millet Flour - 70%, Wheat Flour - 30%, Salt, Water

Instructions to Use


  • Rinse the millet vermicelli under running water to remove excess starch.
  • Steam it in an idli steamer or a colander over boiling water for about 5–7 minutes until soft but not sticky.
  • Heat oil or ghee in a pan.
  • Add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, and let them splutter.
  • Add peanuts or cashews and roast until golden.
  • Toss in chopped onions, green chilies, and curry leaves. Sauté until onions turn translucent.
  • Add grated carrots and peas. Cook for a minute until slightly soft.
  • Add the steamed vermicelli and mix gently.
  • Sprinkle salt and sauté for another 2–3 minutes on low heat.
  • Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and a squeeze of lemon juice.
