Instructions to Use

Rajgira Roti (Amaranth Flour Roti) Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup Rajgira Flour (Amaranth Flour)
  • 1 medium boiled potato, mashed (helps with binding)
  • Salt to taste
  • Warm water, as needed
  • Ghee or oil for cooking

Instructions:

  1. Mix the dough: Combine rajgira flour, mashed potato, and salt in a bowl.
  2. Add water: Add warm water little by little and knead into a soft dough.
  3. Shape rotis: Take a small dough ball and flatten it by hand between parchment sheets OR dust lightly with flour and roll gently.
  4. Cook: Place the roti on a hot tawa. Cook both sides until light brown spots appear.
  5. Brush with ghee for better taste.
  6. Serve: Enjoy hot with curd, chutney, sabzi, or any vrat-friendly dish.
