Instructions to Use

Green Gram Roti (Moong Atta Roti) Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup Green Gram Flour (Moong Flour)
  • ¼ cup wheat flour (optional, helps binding)
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 1–2 green chilies, chopped
  • 2 tbsp coriander leaves, chopped
  • Salt to taste
  • Water as needed
  • Oil or ghee for cooking

Instructions:

  • Mix the ingredients: In a bowl, combine green gram flour, wheat flour (if using), onion, chilies, coriander, and salt.
  • Knead the dough: Add water gradually and knead into a soft, smooth dough.
  • Shape the rotis: Divide the dough into small balls. Roll each ball into a thin roti using a little dry flour for dusting.
  • Cook: Heat a tawa and place the roti on it. Cook until light brown spots appear, then flip and cook the other side.
  • Serve: Apply a little ghee or oil (optional) and serve hot.
